The purpose of this meeting is to gather state agency forestry leaders from across the South in one place to share information, make decisions and enact plans of action regarding leadership in sustaining the economic, environmental and social benefits of the South’s forests, and work to identify and address existing and emerging issues and challenges that are important to southern forests and citizens. This meeting is designed to help coordinate and facilitate regional consistency in facing the challenges and opportunities of our Southern forests.
